Mr. Ngay Ta is a self taught musician and artist born 1955 in Saigon, Vietnam. After moving his family to the United States in 1999, Ngay overcoming the obstacles of polio since the age of 1, rekindled his life's ambition to paint professionally after a 20 year hiatus.

Ngay has developed a unique style of painting that reveals the universal and beautiful elements found in the world around us. He prepares all of his materials by hand mastering the concept and techniques of painting with "soot" that he collects from a burning candle. A creative medium featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune and The Asia Journal of Culture & Commerce publications.
